There was a time when vampires, werewolves, witches and aliens were something to be feared. Something terrible and fascinating. Bigger, stronger, greater than humans. WTF happened?
It really pisses me off how television these days strips out anything provocative or even remotely violent. I doubt our kids will know anything about a life without technology, outside our little comfort zones.
